Cheerfully Contradictory

There's one thing I miss about Livejournal quite a great deal: Displaying the music you play while posting.

In f act, I miss all the activity on this site back when it was five times as strong. Facebook is good, but it's nowhere near like the kind of intimacy you could communicate on a proper blogging site.

I agree - I definitely feel like the embarrassment of options within Facebook can be detrimental. Also, being able to tailor who sees your posts is a feature I most certainly appreciate in LJ.

Well, Facebook has the latter now. I can dictate who sees what.

I always was a laconic being and not too inclined to be private so for me Facebook works... But it is true that in its golden age LJ was very interesting, it used to feed my thoughts.

I took a shit...
47 people like this.

Yeah Fesse-book sucks. there's used to be a lot of good ideas / stories/ messages here.. then there was memes.. now it's for the things that don't fit into status updates.

It's kinda sad...
